this is... my favourite film

Things have been a bit crazy in the Teacups-camp of late and I haven't had a chance to play along with "This is..." for a while, BUT I could not resist this week's topic from the delightful Hokey. Of course my favourite film is Amelie. When in Paris a few years back we visited the cafe where it was set. We tried our very best to not look like tourists and fit into the very cool french crowd... Somehow the camera flash going off when we were sneaking happy snaps soon gave us away.

Oh dear. We all so aspire to be cool, but usually end up being more fool than cool. Oh well. I still think you're cool.

I too am a big fan of the movie Amelie. It is the sort of film to watch when you are feeling a bit blah or are looking for visual colour inspiration.

I would like to one day visit France.

I love Amelie too, the music, the colors, the shapes and the love! I watched it again last month and felt so full of inspiration after. Lucky you getting to the cafe :)

I loved the film! I was discussing it with my husband the other day. It's a film you can freeze at any frame and feel as if it could be a work of art :)
