this is... something I got but still haven't used

This was a wedding pressie that has been allocated some permanent space in one of our wardrobes, sitting next to Mastermind... both sadly still in their plastic wrapping. I don't know what it is but we are just not board-game people. I used to enjoy the odd Guess Who or Monopoly growing up but nowadays tend to read a book (or blog), or attempt something craftalicious. My best friend is mortified... she is a Scrabble-fiend!

Thanks flossy-p for this weeks theme (sorry I'm late).

Board games are great when you go away on holidays with a group of friends.....expecially if you have a few drinks first!

Scrabble actually makes me angry, but that probably says more about me than the game!

I hear you. I am not into scrabble or any board (bored!) game.

I remember staying up till all hours with a beverage (or three or four) playing scrabble. I don't think I have the patience for it anymore!

I was forced to play scrabble just a few weeks ago... I usually avoid it at all costs because I'm so bad at it... but it actually wasn't that bad, I kind of enjoyed it (shhhh, don't tell anyone). Mind you it's not the most fun game to play at a dinner party, all talking has to stop while you spend the whole time thinking. Good to play as a couple though. :)

Thanks for playing along.

Heehee! Very fun, but it takes a lot of focus to play it! ;) Lets see some crafts come of it! ;)

I love Scrabble but no one in my family will play it with me! Scattergories is my current fave - the games can be as short or as long as you want and it is always good for a laugh.
